2-14 In honor of Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar, his nephew Nabarun Chatterji founded the ‘Pandit Ravi Shankar Music Foundation’ in 2012. The organization is supported by chief patrons Sukanya Shankar, Pandit Ravi Shankar’s wife, and her niece Mamta Shankar, who is also a patron of the foundation. Continuing its rich legacy, the Pandit Ravi Shankar Music Foundation proudly presents the “BHARAT GAAN MAHOTSAV-2025,” a three-day musical extravaganza set to unfold in New Delhi from 31 October to 2 November, 2025. Featuring the esteemed presence of renowned Gurus in singing, dancing, and instrumental performance, this event promises to soar to new heights, offering a rare opportunity to encounter these luminaries in one vibrant location.

The BHARAT GAAN MAHOTSAV-2025 aims to establish a world record for the “World’s Largest Music Foundation Celebration,” in collaboration with Forbes World Records Certification Services Co. Our ambitious goal is to unite 9,001 artists, aged 14 to 80, from all corners of India, to grace a single stage and create an unforgettable global milestone.

This powerful tribute will showcase participants selected through nationwide auditions, with a particular focus on identifying and nurturing the talents of school children, ensuring the preservation and continuation of our rich musical heritage. Our aim is to establish a historic record that will endure through the ages.
